The Knuckleheads

Young brothers, Long Face and Tubbs are affectionately known by Steve as The Knuckleheads. Approximately two years old, these cubs are the little kids of the bunch and they like to have fun and get into trouble.

"These two had the time of their lives last summer," Steve explained. They stayed away from the older males but were playful and willing to push Steve's buttons to see what they could get away with. Like any animal, Steve disciplines the bears when they are young so they will be more manageable as they get older and larger.

Wondering how the knuckheads are doing? Are they still hanging up in the Knolls?

Don't Feed Our Bears

Co-existence with bears comes with responsibility. Do not approach animals in the wild, respect their habitat and above all, never feed wildlife.
